November 11, 2006 (ok, so i'm a little late)
Andrew Hodges, my favorite older brother, finishes the World Championship half ironman in Clearwater beach, Florida. Wait, he doesn't just finish it, he is the first ametuer finisher, and 12th overall. See results.

Yes, he is ridiculously fast. I know, I couldnt do it. I am proud! Oh, and by the way, he just got an offer from Timex, so he is going pro at the end of this year (dont worry, I already called dibs on the first watch). Bragging.

So basically the reason that he won is because he had the largest fan base at the event. Home course advantage and all.... and this pic is still missing some... Overall it was a great weekend with the family and a fabulous performance by Andrew. (oh, and by the way, he is single.)

Family Science Night...

Will a straw poke through a potato? Yes, it will. Plug the end of the straw so the air pressure keeps the straw strong. Cool. Do kids really understand that? Do you really understand that?

Do I really understand why I had to participate in this ______ event? Well, it was kinda fun, but I could think of a lot funner things to do with my time.

Oh, btw, you cant see it in this pic, but the big round, brown thing in the middle is a Mr. Potato head. That was my favorite part about this whole.... thing.

(Left to right: Jeebs, Kelly, K80, Allison)

Here we are celebrating Kelly's b-day at Downtown marketplace. Yes, that is HUGE bag of popcorn in her arm.

We are on our way to a Greek Festival to eat a lot, watch pubescent greeks dance, and of course birthday consumption of Ouzo.

It was a fabulous day!!! I love my roomies!
PS- Kelly, I like you...
