In case you haven't been informed yet.... I, K80 Hodges, have been recommended for a Fulbright Grant to Taiwan. Which basically means that they have narrowed it down to about 16-22 Americans and maybe 12 will actually be awarded the grant. They still have to check with some other things including the Foreign Scholarship Board, Taiwan, medical stuff, securtity, and available funds. So, I really won't find out anythin until the principal candidates are notified- about May 14th. Until then... I guess that I just have to get my jumping gear all ready. Start looking down at the ground to get a general idea of some places that I could land. The door on the plane is about to open soon.

Setting (physical): Tallahassee, Fl

Characters: (in no particular order) Kelly, Jennifer, Laura, Natalie, Jordan, Kara, Sweat, Kokoum, Ondrea, Leslia, Lucina, Kinder, the Frenches, Mrs. Follis, kiddies, Mae, Tulia, Mitch, David, etc.

Plot Summary: K80 was thrown out of the plane into this semester with only some unknown equiptment and must figure out how it works before gravity takes the best (and worst) of her. Not to say that the landing is going to be easy or enjoyable, but it is inevitable that she must land. She struggles with all of the complex gear that she is given and tensly gets caught up in the intricate details. But once she figures the gear out, there still isn't much choice in the matter of where she lands, considering all of the unforseen variables. The excitement of uncertainty overcomes her lack of ability and forces her to trust. With the forcingly invigorating wind and the awing landscape, she should just close her eyes and take a minute to enjoy, and understand that everything is going to be alright.
